Apr. 4th, 2005 @ 09:03 pm Two new people in a row! OMG now it's Riku!
Alas!
Brighid
doomweasel:
A lean teenaged boy with silver hair (see teh piccys here and here) slowly enters the room, an utterly confused - yet curious - expression on his face. He suddenly sees Kenshin still glaring daggers at Soujiro and stops. "Ooookaaay," he says slowly. "If I have to choose between this and the heartless-teeming darkness, I'm gonna go with the heartless-teeming darkness." He turns to leave, then stops as if someone has called his name. After a few seconds of standing in silence, he bursts out, "But Your Majesty, we're wasting time here! We need to get out and find Sora!" He listens for a few more moments, then snorts derisively, "I don't see how a bunch of freaks like these guys can help me... ...Your Majesty? Your Majesty!" He looks around the room wildly, searching for his invisible companion. "Damn it!" he growls, casting the people in the room an acid glare. Folding his arms across his chest, he's the spitting image of a sullen, rebellious teen. "My name is Riku," he mutters. "Apparently King Mickey is an ass and thinks this stupid little meeting is more important than finding my friends."

Hisoka

(Never Forget)
*to Soujirou*

That's not strength. That's sadism.

And you'll be dead anyway, sooner or later. It's just that, if you think that way, no-one will care when you die.

Well. They might celebrate.

Tsuzuki

*Grins at Hisoka* Maybe everyone has a certain amount of joy they have to spread in the world, either while they're alive or when they're dead, you think? Like the old joke about Hitler dying on a Jewish holiday.

*To Soujirou, still grinning, but it's not so friendly now* And as for you- I was born in the Meiji era. I'm almost a century old and still looking pretty. I could last for another century at least and I probably will. How's that for surviving? How's that for strength?

Hisoka

*sort of half-smiles back when Tsuzuki grins at him.

It deepens to a small but definite smile when Tsuzuki speaks to Soujirou.*

Soujirou

*smiles* A century? It's only the tenth year of Meiji now. That's confusing! *scratches the back of his head*

(Soujirou continues to look cheerful. He either is oblivious or displays no reaction to any hostility directed at him.)

Riku

*thinks momentarily about the time disparity, then shrugs and continues*

All this talk about strength really only considers the strength of a person's body. Your heart's strength is more important - the strength to endure all sort of hardships instead of shutting yourself away.

*snorts* Ridding yourself of emotions isn't strength - it's just the opposite. You're really running away because you're afraid of getting hurt.
